Youth Academy

The MidState Soccer Academy is the quintessential soccer experience for those children who would like to participate, deemphasizing the need to win while continuing to maintaining a high level of age-appropriate soccer instruction for youths of all skill levels. Therefore, top priority is placed on having fun and developing an appreciation and love for the game. To ensure that each player receives the appropriate training, Academy training sessions are conducted by MidState Soccer Club’s professional, certified coaching staff, with each of these sessions focusing on the technical development of younger players in preparation for their advancemtn to the next level of play, whether it be recreational or club teams.

Kindergarten

Each fall, MidState Soccer Club offers a free, four-week program in cooperation with the Decatur YMCA. This program allows young players and their families to have the opportunity to be introduced to MidState Soccer Club, the coaching staff, and our unique style of training. The Kindergarten group will meet once a week for four weeks in the fall and will provide training sessions focusing on the technical development of these young players, while placing an emphasis on fun and enjoyment of the game.
